Job Summary

At Badger Isuzu Truck Center, we are seeking a skilled Truck Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for performing lube and preventive maintenance services on customer vehicles, as well as other automotive services.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with the ability to diagnose and repair minor engine and brakes problems. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work area, and ensuring customer satisfaction by providing quality service in a timely manner.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive customer vehicles in and out of the service bay or other designated areas
  • Perform lube and preventive maintenance services on customer vehicles, including oil changes, tire rotations, and minor repairs
  • Diagnose and repair minor engine and brakes problems
  • Maintain all customer vehicles and equipment
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area
  • Follow all safety requirements and procedures

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience as a lube technician or related automotive service experience preferred
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
  • Ability to read and understand automotive repair and maintenance manuals
  • Ability to lift up to 100 pounds
  • Good communication skills and customer service experience
