POSITION SUMMARY:

The Head of Human Resources Operations will oversee the HR department at Exacta Systems LLC. This role is pivotal in formulating and implementing HR strategies that align with the company's overall objectives. Key areas of responsibility include talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, training, benefits administration, and adherence to company policies.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Initiate programs to boost employee engagement, retention, and foster a positive workplace environment.
  • Work closely with senior management to ensure HR policies are in sync with business strategies.
  • Contribute to the development of innovative policies and procedures aimed at enhancing departmental efficiency.
  • Guarantee compliance with all relevant employment laws at the federal, state, and local levels.
  • Address employee relations matters, conduct HR investigations, and provide guidance on disciplinary measures.
  • Supervise recruitment activities across multiple states, ensuring a streamlined hiring process.
  • Formulate strategies for talent acquisition, retention, career advancement, and succession planning.
  • Conduct orientation for new hires and exit interviews.
  • Manage compensation structures and performance review systems.
  • Oversee payroll functions to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Coordinate ongoing learning and professional development initiatives.
  • Lead training sessions on HR policies, compliance, and leadership skills.
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning and skill development throughout the organization.
  • Maintain HRIS records and generate reports as needed.
  • Drive initiatives to improve employee satisfaction and engagement through effective communication and recognition programs.
  • Advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion within the workplace.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

EDUCATIONAL AND PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or a related field is preferred.
  • 8-10 years of progressive experience in various HR functions, including recruitment, benefits, employee relations, and training.
  • At least 3 years in a leadership capacity managing HR operations in a multi-state context, ideally within the technology sector.
  • Professional certifications such as PHR or SPHR are advantageous.
  • Willingness to obtain necessary licenses for employment in various jurisdictions as required.
  • Ability to travel as necessary.
  • Experience in managing employee relations issues and conducting HR investigations is essential.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of HR practices and employment laws across multiple states.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage with all organizational levels, including executive leadership.
