Payment Processor

GreenState Credit Union is seeking a highly skilled Payment Processor to join our team. As a Payment Processor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our payment processing systems, including ACH, Checks, and Wire Transfers.

• Process and post daily ACH, Check, and Wire Transfer files to member accounts.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of payment exceptions, including stop payments, NSF, and DNEs.
• Reconcile daily payment files to ensure all items have been processed.
• Provide exceptional customer service to members and internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with the finance team to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; one to three years of financial institution or related work experience preferred.
• Previous experience with ACH, Check, and/or Wire processing strongly preferred.
• Accreditation in payment processing (e.g. AAP, APRP, NCP, FPP) a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal direction and exercise sound judgment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a positive attitude and a team-first focus.
