We are Launchpad Hospitality LLC, a dynamic company specializing in innovative sushi experiences. As we expand our operations, we require an experienced and charismatic Sous Chef to lead our kitchen team.
About the Role
The successful candidate will support our Executive Chef in all aspects of kitchen management, including food production, staff training, inventory control, and maintaining high health and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Food preparation and presentation
- Cooking for large volumes and managing kitchen workflow
- Training and coaching junior staff members
- Managing inventory and ordering supplies
- Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment
Requirements and Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience as a sous chef or equivalent position
- Possess excellent communication and leadership skills
- Demonstrate ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and department of health standards
What We Offer
- A competitive salary of $65,000-$70,000 per annum
- 56 hours of paid safe and sick time annually
