Job Overview

We are actively seeking dedicated individuals for full-time MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN roles within our organization.

Position Details:
  • Location: Various opportunities available.
  • Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm. Flexibility for both full and part-time roles to accommodate diverse scheduling needs.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a union environment and general maintenance is preferred, but we are open to training the right candidates.
  • Compensation: Competitive pay rate starting at $19.51 per hour.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct maintenance, repairs, and cleaning of facilities and grounds.
  • Perform basic maintenance tasks and repairs as assigned, coordinating with supervisors and skilled trades as necessary.
  • Utilize company technology systems to update work statuses, repair timings, and associated costs.
  • Provide support for fleet maintenance, including welding, plumbing, electrical work, and troubleshooting.
  • Assist in decision-making for minor repairs and report significant issues to supervisors.
  • Maintain cleanliness of outdoor areas and dispose of waste materials appropriately.
  • Operate various electrical and gasoline-powered equipment.
  • Perform minor repairs on equipment using both power and hand tools.
  • Engage in unskilled or semi-skilled tasks such as carpentry, plumbing, painting, and electrical work.
  • Respond to emergency situations and perform necessary repairs.
  • Maintain logs and complete maintenance work orders, tests, and inspections.
  • Effectively communicate detailed instructions both verbally and in writing.
  • Participate as a member of the facility's emergency response team.
  • Carry out additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of one year of relevant experience in maintenance or a similar role.
  • Valid driver's license is required.
Working Environment:

Candidates should be prepared for exposure to varying levels of heat, noise, dust, and areas requiring infection control. The role may require working outside regular hours, including weekends and nights, to ensure facility maintenance standards are met.
