- Perform pre-visit planning, including running insurance eligibility and obtaining prior authorizations as needed.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, adhering to confidentiality and data protection policies.
- Perform other administrative tasks as required, including data entry, filing, and supply management.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1-3 years of experience in a medical office setting, preferably as a medical secretary or administrative assistant.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, providers, and colleagues.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems, preferably Athena.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Outlook.
