We are currently in search of a meticulous Logistics Operations Manager who will oversee the transportation division within our organization.

Key Responsibilities of the Logistics Operations Manager:
  • Formulate and implement transportation policies, procedures, and programs to guarantee safe and efficient operations.
  • Supervise the Program Manager to ensure the daily functions of the transportation division, including vehicle and driver scheduling, routing, and dispatching.
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant state and federal transportation regulations, encompassing driver qualifications, vehicle upkeep, and service hours.
  • Monitor transportation expenditures and pinpoint opportunities for cost reduction.
  • Manage relationships with transportation service providers and negotiate contracts and pricing.
  • Collaborate with various departments to fulfill transportation requirements, including coordinating with program directors.
  • Establish and maintain transportation performance metrics and reports, utilizing data to identify improvement areas.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of all transportation-related documentation.
  • Oversee and develop transportation personnel, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Stay informed on trends and best practices in transportation management.
Qualifications and Requirements for the Logistics Operations Manager:
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Experience in working with mental health services is essential.
  • A minimum of 5 years in a transportation management role or a similar position.
  • Familiarity with safety and compliance regulations in transportation.
  • Capability to manage and coordinate multiple transportation routes.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in transportation management software.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to make decisions under pressure.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining accurate records.
  • Flexibility to work extended hours or weekends as necessary.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
