Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Lead to join our team at Performance Food Group. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will be responsible for overseeing and guiding the warehouse crew under the direction of the warehouse manager/supervisor.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain Warehouse Work Areas: Ensure that all warehouse work areas are clean, organized, and well-maintained to promote efficiency and productivity.
  • Assist with Shipping and Receiving Functions: Provide timely and accurate support with shipping and receiving functions, including receiving and processing inventory, and preparing shipments for delivery.
  • Observe Safety Regulations: Ensure that all safety regulations and protocols are followed at all times, and that all employees are aware of and adhere to these regulations.
  • Lead by Example: Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction, and lead by example to inspire and motivate the warehouse crew.
Requirements:
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in a warehouse or logistics role, with a proven track record of success in a leadership or supervisory capacity.
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate a team.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with warehouse operations, including shipping and receiving functions, inventory management, and safety protocols.
