Job Description:

As a Pharmacy Operations Manager at Walgreens, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy, ensuring efficient workflow and a positive patient experience. This role requires a strong leader who can manage a team of pharmacy technicians and cashiers, while also maintaining a high level of customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage pharmacy operations, including patient registration, prescription data entry, and medication preparation.
  • Supervise and train pharmacy technicians and cashiers to ensure they are meeting company standards.
  • Develop and implement processes to improve pharmacy efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the Pharmacy Manager to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, team members, and other stakeholders to resolve issues and improve customer experience.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • PTCB or ExCPT certification required (except in Puerto Rico).
  • One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting required.
  • Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
  • Ability to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous people management/leadership experience.
  • Previous work experience with Walgreens with an Exceeding Expectation on last performance evaluation.

Walgreens offers a competitive salary range of $22.50 per hour - $31.00 per hour, depending on location, skills, and experience. We also offer a range of benefits, including health insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
