Job Title: Senior Civil Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Engineer to join our team at the Massachusetts Water Resources Authority (MWRA). As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and leadership on complex waterworks and wastewater projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical guidance and oversight on construction projects, ensuring compliance with engineering standards and regulations.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, construction, and operations, to ensure project success.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor project progress and identify potential issues.
  • Develop and implement corrective actions to address project deviations and ensure timely completion.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in civil engineering, with at least 2 years of supervisory or project management experience.
  • Strong knowledge of waterworks and wastewater systems, including design, construction, and operation.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Valid Class D Motor Vehicle Operator's license.
