Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and driven Project Manager to oversee our commercial construction projects. This role involves managing the entire project lifecycle, ensuring timely and cost-effective completion of projects while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all phases of project management from initial planning and budgeting through to project completion.
- Coordinate and manage construction teams and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with project specifications and safety protocols.
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, monitoring progress to ensure timely delivery.
- Utilize project management tools to track performance and resource allocation effectively.
- Conduct risk assessments to mitigate potential project risks and create contingency plans as needed.
- Ensure adherence to local and national building codes and safety regulations throughout the project.
- Maintain effective communication with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to foster strong relationships and ensure project success.
- Prepare comprehensive reports on project status, budget, and timelines for internal and external stakeholders.
- Identify and resolve issues that may affect project scope, schedule, or budget proactively.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial construction project management.
- Demonstrated experience in managing design-build, ground-up, and fit-out projects.
- Strong understanding of construction management processes and methodologies.
- Proficient in project management software.
- In-depth knowledge of building codes and safety regulations.
- Expertise in project scheduling and the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation abilities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the capacity to make informed decisions under pressure.
- A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
