About the Role

Cafe Benelux is seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Customer Experience Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our front-of-house team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food and Beverage Quality Assurance: Ensure that all food and beverages are of the highest quality and presented in a visually appealing manner.
  • Menu Knowledge: Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of our menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and pairing suggestions.
  • Rotation Seating: Manage the seating of guests in a way that maximizes efficiency and ensures a smooth dining experience.
  • Welcoming: Greet guests warmly and make them feel valued and appreciated.
  • Aware of Events and Specials: Stay up-to-date on upcoming events, promotions, and specials, and communicate this information to guests in a clear and concise manner.
  • Friendly and Attentive Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding promptly to guest needs and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Responsible Cash Handling: Handle cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently, maintaining a high level of integrity and attention to detail.
  • Service Speed: Work efficiently to ensure that guests receive their food and beverages in a timely manner.
  • Maintain a Neat and Organized Front-of-House Environment: Maintain a clean and organized front-of-house area, including the dining room, bar, and restrooms.
  • Assist with Opening/Closing Tasks and Side Work as Needed: Assist with opening and closing tasks, including setting up and breaking down the dining room, and completing side work as needed.

  • Ability to Communicate Clearly: Communicate effectively with colleagues, management, and guests, both verbally and in writing.
