Job Summary

The User Experience (UX) Designer plays a crucial role in leading the onsite customer experience strategy and implementation for Edgepark, serving both B2C and B2B customers. This multifaceted position involves defining the form and function of web, desktop, and mobile applications. The ideal candidate must be results-driven, capable of executing plans despite challenges, and adept at cross-functional collaboration, particularly with development, product management, marketing, and commercial teams.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the design for new experiences and improvements of existing experiences.
  • Quickly iterate on multiple interactive design solutions and work through details.
  • Advocate for design solutions, highlighting inputs that influenced the decisions, including business and user goals, demographic and usage data, and research findings.
  • Develop high-level, detailed storyboards, mock-ups, and prototypes to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
  • Conduct testing of applications, websites, and other technologies to assess user experience and design, and ensure compliance.
  • Build storyboards to conceptualize designs and accurately convey project plans to all stakeholders.
  • Create standard work processes for customer research through various strategies and platforms to gather the voice of the customer and ensure ease of use on all stores.
  • Apply creativity and expertise to design for future-state, high-level platform strategy.
  • Deliver work that's not only user-friendly, aesthetically engaging, but which also produces results.
  • Work alongside engineers and product managers throughout all stages of the production cycle.
  • Develop and maintain detailed user-interface specifications.
  • Present design work to multiple teams and senior leadership for review and feedback.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in product or user experience design preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience designing and prototyping responsive web, digital products, or applications preferred.
  • Formal education and/or training certifications preferred.
  • Domain expertise in the healthcare industry, a plus.
  • Strong foundational understanding of user experience best practices in transaction-oriented applications.
  • Proven experience with user-centered design processes based on data analysis.
  • Practical understanding of the technologies used to build rich eCommerce applications.
  • Strong communication skills to persuade and collect buy-in from stakeholders at all levels, while also accepting input.

  • Work reviewed for purpose of meeting objectives.
