Job Description

The EHS Administrator position plays a critical role in supporting the EHS department's initiatives and programs. Key responsibilities include maintaining documentation, records, training, and compliance in the areas of Environmental, Health and Safety.

Responsibilities
  • Develop, prepare, and implement safety and security policies and procedures in collaboration with the EHS Director and Operations.
  • Maintain accurate records of various company EHS records.
  • Compile monthly reporting and perform various administrative duties associated with EHS data management systems.
  • Identify opportunities to minimize workplace injuries, accidents, and health problems.
  • Ensure compliance for federal, state, and local safety laws, regulations, codes, and rules.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in safety administration or related field.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to read, comprehend and act on simple instructions.
  • Ability to prioritize and take immediate action on high-priority tasks.

Balcones Recycling offers a competitive salary range of $55,000 - $75,000 per year, depending on experience.
