About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Support Billing Specialist to join our team at ePlus Technology, inc. This is a hybrid role that requires a unique blend of technical and business skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Support Billing discrepancy requests in a timely and accurate manner
  • Demonstrate effective decision-making skills, applying critical thinking to understand short-term and long-term impact
  • Proactively address tasks and resolve issues with a sense of urgency, engaging appropriate business partners to drive timely resolution
  • Complete timely and accurate invoicing and invoicing-related tasks for multiple company divisions, including periodic recurring, miscellaneous, manual invoicing using Microsoft Excel and Word, and retrieval from special programs
  • Process and perform data entry of invoicing-related tasks, including adjustments and updates, meeting daily/weekly/monthly deadlines
  • Cross-train within the Billing department to act as back-up support for team members
  • Maintain accurate and updated procedures and support process improvement
  • Maintain excellent service to external and internal customers and effectively collaborate with business partners
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in Billing
  • 3-5 years of experience in a billing or accounting operations/support environment
  • Associates degree preferred
  • Experience with complex billing applications
  • Successful completion of a Principles of Accounting course a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly organized with the capability to follow standardized procedures along multiple phase processes
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, high initiative to function independently with little supervision yet work effectively on a team and with other business partners
  • Aptitude to multi-task effectively and prioritize work in a fast-paced work environment with daily/monthly deadlines
  • Analyze and resolve problems, offer creative solutions when needed
