Job Summary:

As a Senior Executive Chef with Compass Group USA, you will have the opportunity to lead culinary operations in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the development and implementation of menus, inventory management, purchasing, food cost controls, and staff management and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain high culinary standards for retail, board meals, dining, and catering operations.
  • Train, develop, and provide inspirational leadership to local culinary teams.
  • Lead Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives, focusing on food seasonality, health and wellness, and high-quality culinary arts.
  • Analyze ongoing performance and trends in the local operation and devise and lead improvements.
  • Demonstrate a complete understanding of daily menu items and be able to explain them to customers accurately.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Culinary degree or Bachelor's Degree in Food Services Technology/Management or related field.
  • Three to five years of progressive culinary or kitchen management experience.
  • Experience with planning and managing catering events from a culinary perspective.
  • Strong leadership skills and desire to work with an industry leader.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of food and catering trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation.
  • Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office, Email, and the Internet).
  • Ability to communicate on various levels, including management, departmental, customer, and associate.
  • ServSafe Certification.
