Position Overview:

Stefanini Group is actively seeking a Systems Engineer for a fully remote opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develops various levels of intricate frameworks to fulfill system-wide technical and business architecture requirements.
  • Establishes processes for technical platforms, system specifications, and ensures compatibility between technical and business aspects.
  • Identifies, evaluates, and rectifies design vulnerabilities.
  • Collaborates with management to implement strategic initiatives aimed at designing, planning, and synchronizing technological directives and recommendations.
  • This senior-level role demands a seasoned professional with a comprehensive understanding of industry standards.
  • Requires extensive experience and expertise in the field.
  • Knowledge: In-depth understanding of concepts and principles within the functional area, along with general knowledge of departmental operations, policies, and technologies.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, creativity, and attention to detail, with proficient oral and written communication skills tailored for diverse audiences.
  • Risk Management: Responsible for applying risk management principles in decision-making processes.
  • Decision-Making: Operates under guidance to plan procedures and methods to achieve specific objectives, making decisions within established standards.
  • Achieves planned results through decisions and actions based on professional methodologies, training, and practical experience.
  • Experience in architecting and building pipelines and images is essential.
  • Familiarity with Ansible and scanning tools is required.
  • The primary focus is on Linux systems, with Windows experience considered an advantage.

Job Requirements:

  • Leads significant technology studies by assessing merit and impact; designs and establishes architecture standards for the organization through collaboration with application developers to ensure adherence to established technical architecture.
  • Facilitates architectural discussions for both technical and managerial audiences.
  • Partners with clients to identify critical architectural and infrastructure gaps, recommending solutions for enhancement.
  • Guides efforts in analyzing e-business drivers to determine IT architecture requirements.
  • Oversees initial project development, system design/testing, and investigates alternatives for implementing new technologies.
  • Provides consultative leadership on projects focused on strategic technological planning and implementation.
  • Offers senior-level technical guidance to other architects involved in technology studies and implementation projects.
  • Performs additional related duties as assigned.
  • Working Conditions: Standard office equipment such as computers and phones will be utilized.
  • Physical Demands: Involves prolonged periods of sitting, standing, and the ability to lift and carry over 20 lbs.
  • Hours of Work: May require extended hours and occasional travel.
  • May be subject to on-call responsibilities as needed.
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience with 6 to 9+ years of relevant work experience.
