Position Overview:
The Kemper Home Service team is in search of a Sales Manager to collaborate with agents within their designated territory. The Sales Manager's responsibilities encompass recruiting, training, and overseeing the agents assigned (averaging seven agents).
Key Responsibilities:
  • Accountable for the performance of assigned agents, expected to achieve results through ongoing recruitment, training, and supervisory activities.
  • Engage in continuous prospecting for potential agent candidates.
  • Regularly collaborate with assigned agents, supervising and monitoring their job functions, including sales and collection activities.
  • Conduct business inspections in the field and via phone to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Provide support for agencies lacking an assigned agent.
  • Report directly to the District Manager.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales management or a related field.
  • Must hold valid licenses in Life, Health, Property, and Casualty.

This role necessitates both in-office and fieldwork, with 50-100% of the time dedicated to recruiting, training, developing, and supporting agents in their respective territories.
