Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Property Manager in overseeing the financial performance of the designated community.
  • Monitor leasing, occupancy, and retention metrics.
  • Ensure timely collection and accurate posting of all rental payments.
  • Input and maintain accurate leasing data, including unit status and tenant information, in the property management software.
  • Conduct inspections of vacant units and the property grounds.
  • Handle tenant communications electronically, including notifications for late payments.
  • Coordinate maintenance requests and manage supply orders with the maintenance team.
  • Engage in marketing efforts, schedule viewings, and showcase available units.
  • Foster positive community and resident relations.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma required; a college degree and professional certifications are advantageous.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience is preferred.
  • Experience in multi-unit apartment leasing, including market rate, vouchers, and subsidies, is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with real estate property management software (Yardi is preferred).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Possess an entrepreneurial spirit, with the ability to work independently and as part of a cohesive team.
  • Demonstrate proactive and detail-oriented work habits, committed to delivering high-quality results.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to maintain accurate records and files.
  • Able to prioritize tasks effectively and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Exhibit a sense of urgency in completing tasks.
