Business Development Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team at Pros2Plan LLC, a Spinnaker SCA Subsidiary. The successful candidate will be responsible for locating, developing, and closing new business opportunities, maintaining extensive knowledge of current market conditions, and working closely with our internal team to improve our market position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Locate key decision-makers and set up introduction meetings through cold calling, warm connecting, online networking, and phone outreach.
- Screen and qualify prospective clients and opportunities, articulating client needs, budget, and specific skillsets to senior management.
- Coordinate requirements related to the closing of new business deals in partnership with senior management.
- Stay up-to-date on market conditions by attending educational opportunities, reading professional publications, and participating in industry functions.
- Present potential new products and services, helping create new sales slides, brochures, etc.
- Track down email and phone numbers to build campaign contacts for sales and marketing.
- Meet a quarterly sales activity quota.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- 2+ years proven BDM experience or a bachelor's degree.
- Sales knowledge/experience.
- General knowledge in Supply Chain (Planning, Execution, etc.).
- Supply Chain Product or Service Sales Preferred.
- Experience in entering data into CRM system.
- Executive presence in person and via phone.
- Strong presentation and writing skills.
- Proficient in Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Excellent problem-solving and time management skills.
- Thrives and excels in a fast-paced environment.
