About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned sales professional to lead our automation solutions sales efforts in the Midwest region. As a Regional Sales Director, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans to drive growth and revenue within your designated territory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve corporate goals and objectives
  • Direct sales forecasting activities and set performance goals for sales representatives
  • Conduct market analyses to identify customer needs and opportunities for expansion
  • Deliver sales presentations to key clients and stakeholders
  • Maintain relationships with key clients and negotiate and close deals
  • Collaborate with the sales and engineering teams to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction
  • Manage divisional expenditures to ensure alignment with budgetary requirements
  • Represent the company at industry events and conferences to promote products and solutions
  • Prepare and present sales reports to stakeholders
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing solutions sales, specifically in automation
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D and ability to understand and present technical concepts
  • Strong sales forecasting and territory development skills
  • Excellent numerical skills and ability to calculate figures and forecasts
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers
  • A valid driver's license and good driving record
  • Ability to travel extensively within the designated region
