Orthopedic and Spine Center of Excellence Registered Nurse

EvergreenHealth is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Orthopedic and Spine Center of Excellence team. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will provide direct patient care and function as a patient advocate, assessing the comprehensive nursing needs of assigned patients and coordinating the patient and family/significant other education process.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care and function as a patient advocate.
- Assess the comprehensive nursing needs of assigned patients.
- Coordinate the patient and family/significant other education process.
- Continuously plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, incorporating patient and family/significant other into the process.
- Participate with physician partners and other interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement patient and family/significant other plan of care.
- Communicate effectively all relevant information (e.g., patient information, safety issues, problems with equipment, quality issues, etc.) to immediate supervisor, in timely way.
- Communicate and document changes in patient condition, on a timely basis, to charge nurse/supervisor and physician.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Washington.
- Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification by date of hire.
- Bachelor's in Nursing (BSN) required within 5 years of employment if applicable.
