Legal Intern Job Summary:

AWS Safety is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Legal Intern. The successful candidate will assist our legal team in conducting research on relevant statutes, regulations, and case law pertaining to safety standards, liability issues, and corporate compliance. Responsibilities will also include drafting and reviewing legal documents, supporting the legal team in ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, organizing and maintaining legal files and databases, and providing administrative support to the legal department. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the development and implementation of our compliance programs, working closely with cross-functional teams within the company. This is a full-time, temporary position that offers a competitive hourly rate of $20/hour and a comprehensive learning experience, where you will gain valuable skills and make meaningful contributions to our organization.

Responsibilities: Conduct research on relevant statutes, regulations, and case law pertaining to safety standards, liability issues, and corporate compliance. Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and corporate policies. Support the legal team in ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, including occupational safety and health standards. Organize and maintain legal files and databases, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality of information. Provide administrative support to the legal department, including scheduling meetings, managing correspondence, and preparing presentations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams within the company to address legal issues and provide guidance as needed. Assist in special legal projects as assigned by the legal team.

Requirements: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Law, Legal Studies, or a related field. Strong academic record with coursework in corporate law, contracts, and regulatory compliance preferred. Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills. Attention to detail and ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research databases. Prior internship or work experience in a legal setting is a plus.
