CareerPaths NW is seeking a highly qualified Senior Fire Safety Inspector to enhance our growing team. As a reputable firm specializing in fire protection systems, we are looking for an individual with a proven track record in the industry to contribute to our ongoing success.

In this role, you will be tasked with conducting thorough inspections of fire alarm systems and related safety measures across a variety of structures, including residential complexes, commercial establishments, assisted living facilities, and high-rise buildings. A key aspect of your position will be to mentor junior staff, ensuring the transfer of essential knowledge and skills to the next generation of professionals.

Your responsibilities will include managing multiple inspections each day for smaller clients or overseeing extensive, multi-day evaluations for larger projects. You will also collaborate with other trades involved in related systems, fostering a cooperative work environment.

We pride ourselves on offering a supportive and family-oriented workplace culture that emphasizes work/life balance, team-building activities, and opportunities for personal and professional development. Our comprehensive benefits package includes medical and vision coverage, paid time off during the holiday season, a 401(k) plan with a 4% match, profit sharing, and support for training and certification.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform inspections of fire alarm systems and related safety measures in various building types.
  • Guide and mentor junior inspectors, facilitating skill development and knowledge sharing.
  • Handle multiple inspections daily for smaller accounts or manage larger, extended inspections.
  • Work collaboratively with other trades on projects involving fire protection systems.
  • Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) for accurate inspections.
  • Exhibit professionalism, punctuality, and organization on all job sites.
  • Respond to service calls as required, with potential for additional compensation.

Qualifications

  • NICET II certification and O6 Electrical license are mandatory.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in fire protection system inspections is required.
  • A collaborative and positive attitude that aligns with our supportive culture.
  • Ability to follow instructions and accept constructive feedback.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to lead by example.

If you are a certified expert with a dedication to fire protection systems and a commitment to working in a nurturing environment, we encourage you to consider this opportunity. This position offers a chance to grow within a company that values expertise, teamwork, and a healthy work/life balance.
