In this role, you will be tasked with the inspection of fire alarm systems and associated equipment across a variety of facilities, including residential complexes, commercial establishments, assisted living centers, and high-rise structures. You will also have the opportunity to mentor junior staff, fostering the development of future professionals in the fire safety industry.

Your responsibilities will include managing multiple inspections each day for smaller accounts or overseeing extensive, multi-day evaluations. We provide a guaranteed 80 hours of work per pay period, along with competitive compensation that can increase with availability for service calls.

We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical and vision insurance, paid time off during holidays, a 401(k) plan with a 4% match, profit sharing, and support for training and certification.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough inspections of fire alarm systems in various types of buildings.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to apprentices, ensuring knowledge transfer.
  • Oversee multiple inspections daily for smaller clients or manage larger, more complex evaluations.
  • Work collaboratively with other trades on projects involving fire protection systems.
  • Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) for accurate inspections.
  • Maintain professionalism, organization, and punctuality on all job sites.
  • Respond to service calls as required, with opportunities for additional earnings.

Qualifications

  • NICET II certification and O6 Electrical license are mandatory.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in the inspection of fire protection systems.
  • A positive attitude that aligns with a collaborative and family-friendly work environment.
  • Ability to accept constructive feedback and follow directions effectively.
  • Highly organized and punctual, with a capacity to lead by example.

If you are a certified expert with a strong passion for fire safety and a desire to work in a nurturing environment, we encourage you to consider this opportunity. This position offers a chance to grow within a company that values expertise, teamwork, and a balanced lifestyle.
