Patient Services Representative

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Patient Services Representative to join our team at Prisma Health. As a key member of our clinical support team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our medical office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Front Office Management: Provide exceptional patient registration, pre-certification, and charge capture services, ensuring accurate and timely processing of patient information.
- Communication and Liaison: Serve as a liaison between patients, medical staff, and insurance companies, ensuring seamless communication and resolution of patient concerns.
- Financial Management: Process payments, manage patient accounts, and maintain accurate financial records, ensuring timely and efficient billing and collection processes.
- Medical Records Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and confidentiality standards.
- Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to medical staff, including scheduling appointments, preparing medical records, and performing other administrative tasks as needed.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent: Required
- Associate's Degree in a Technical Specialty: Preferred
- Basic Understanding of ICD-9 and CPT Coding: Preferred
Work Environment:
This is a non-management role that will report to a supervisor, manager, director, or executive. The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, requiring excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
