Position Summary
The Territory Sales Executive is tasked with spearheading the complete sales cycle, from identifying prospects to finalizing agreements with influential decision-makers. This role demands a comprehensive understanding of Brivo's extensive solution offerings, which encompass integrated systems and components such as Video Management Systems (VMS), Network Video Recorders (NVRs), IP cameras, and wireless locking mechanisms. *This position is remote and serves the Great Lakes region, including Northern Ohio, Western Pennsylvania, and West Virginia.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, recruit, onboard, and nurture new dealer relationships within the designated territory while enhancing revenue and market share with existing Independent and Key Account dealers.
- Pinpoint significant end-user opportunities for direct engagement and channel enhancement.
- Provide timely responses to customer inquiries.
- Acquire a thorough understanding of the Brivo security platform, including compatible devices and integrations, and effectively showcase its functionalities to potential clients.
- Articulate Brivo's value proposition and distinct competitive advantages to dealers and end-users.
- Achieve or surpass monthly, quarterly, and annual sales revenue objectives.
- Collaborate with vertical sales teams, internal support, and field support personnel to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction and exceed sales targets.
- Conduct product demonstrations of Brivo hardware and user interfaces for security consultants, system integrators, end-users, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Deliver system sales training for system integrators and inform prospects about the complete Brivo product suite.
- Travel within the assigned territory 60-75% of the time; additional travel may include participation in industry trade shows, internal meetings, and related events 2-3 times a year outside the designated territory.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in security sales, particularly with access control, video management, or similar technologies is preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience selling within a defined territory and possessing an established client base is preferred.
- Field sales experience is essential (not business development, overlay, or inside sales).
- Must reside within the assigned territory, ideally in a major metropolitan area.
- Experience in SaaS sales, consultative/solutions sales, IT, and/or cybersecurity is advantageous.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are required.
- Demonstrate self-assurance, energy, and professionalism.
- Clearly and concisely present ideas, expectations, and information.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
- Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce), Google Apps (Docs, Sheets, Slides), and other business applications is necessary.
The compensation package for this full-time role includes a base salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 ($130,000 - $170,000 OTE). Individual compensation packages are determined by factors unique to each candidate, including job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, training, and market conditions. In addition to cash compensation (base salary plus incentive pay), Brivo employees are eligible for benefits and perks based on their work locations.
