Position Overview:
The Loan Servicing Division is seeking a Loan Administration Specialist.

This role is essential in supporting loan administration activities, providing exceptional and timely customer service to both internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring quality control in all operations.

In addition to the primary responsibilities outlined below, each team member is expected to embody the values that WaFd Bank emphasizes, particularly the importance of kindness in all interactions with colleagues and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Delivering outstanding customer service to both internal and external clients while executing all assigned loan servicing tasks within established service level agreements.
  • Generating payoff quotes upon receipt of written requests from escrow firms, branches, and clients.
  • Receiving and processing incoming payoff checks, ensuring any excess amounts are returned to the client.
  • Preparing lien releases for loans secured by real estate.
  • Consistently performing daily insurance tasks with accuracy.
  • Conducting post-closing quality control reviews on modified and newly funded loans.


Compliance with bank policies and procedures is essential to adhere to Federal regulations, including but not limited to the Bank Secrecy Act, USA Patriot Act, and OFAC regulations.

Assist the department with various daily operations as needed.

Qualifications:
This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent.

Ability to interact effectively and courteously with both internal and external clients.

Capability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines.

Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and communicate progress on assignments consistently.

Ability to perform daily tasks according to established schedules while remaining flexible to accommodate departmental needs.

Regular and consistent attendance is required.

Experience in real estate lending processes and documentation is advantageous.
