Event Services Technician

Pinnacle Live is a premium, in-house AV partner that elevates live event expectations for people and venues who demand better. We're looking for dedicated, determined individuals to join our team as Event Services Technicians.

Job Summary:

The Event Services Technician is responsible for assisting with floor operations, including setup, strike, and operation of technology solutions in a hotel or hospitality environment. The goal is to deliver unmatched customer service to our guests and clients.

Essential Functions:
  • Ensure all event sets and strikes are completed according to Company SOPs.
  • Greet guests/clients before events and provide clear instructions on how to operate equipment.
  • Provide continued communication with clients to ensure the success of all events.
  • Follows through on all client requests.
  • Look for opportunities to enhance client's events.
  • Maintain accurate client event information within the Company's business systems.
  • Review daily invoices with clients and obtain client's signature on invoice(s).
  • Comply with all Company security and safety measures and is constantly aware of the property inventory and location of equipment and ensures inventory is secure from theft and/or damage.
  • Ensure all inventory is in good working order and rental condition.
  • Ensure any lost, stolen, or damaged equipment is immediately reported to management.
  • Ensure inventory is secure from theft and/or damage.
  • Make sure all Company occupied areas are clean, organized, and up to Company standards.
  • Continually work toward enhancing and improving technical skills to include audio, video/data, staging, and computer operation and networking.
  • Comply with all Company policies and procedures.
Education & Experience:

High School Graduate or equivalent. Prior exposure to audio-visual and/or hospitality industry. Computer proficiency (hardware, software, and networking) is required.

Required Skills & Knowledge:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed herein are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Strong technical aptitude, good working knowledge of computer hardware and software, planning ability, strong interpersonal skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, and a strong team player orientation are essential.
