We are seeking a highly skilled Training Specialist to join our team at Quest Diagnostics. As a Training Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical and non-technical training to new and existing employees in the Patient Services Department.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee knowledge and skills
- Provide training on computer functions, specimen collection and processing, patient care gold standards, quality control/assurance, and patient service center standard operating procedures
- Develop and maintain training materials and ensure consistency across the region
- Conduct site visits to verify adherence to standard operating procedures, compliance, and safety
- Monitor and troubleshoot implementation of corporate initiatives
- Assess phlebotomy skills and provide feedback to territory managers/supervisors
- Develop and implement training programs for site leads, group leads, and supervisors
- 3-5 years of phlebotomy experience or 3-5 years of relevant training experience
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to stand and sit for extended periods of time
- Occasional overnight travel may be required
- Ability to manage stress and prioritize work responsibilities
- Strong technical, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Phlebotomy certification (required in certain states)
- Forensic urine collections (DOT/non-DOT) certification
