Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Training Specialist to join our team at Quest Diagnostics. As a Training Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical and non-technical training to new and existing employees in the Patient Services Department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee knowledge and skills
  • Provide training on computer functions, specimen collection and processing, patient care gold standards, quality control/assurance, and patient service center standard operating procedures
  • Develop and maintain training materials and ensure consistency across the region
  • Conduct site visits to verify adherence to standard operating procedures, compliance, and safety
  • Monitor and troubleshoot implementation of corporate initiatives
  • Assess phlebotomy skills and provide feedback to territory managers/supervisors
  • Develop and implement training programs for site leads, group leads, and supervisors
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of phlebotomy experience or 3-5 years of relevant training experience
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Ability to stand and sit for extended periods of time
  • Occasional overnight travel may be required
  • Ability to manage stress and prioritize work responsibilities
  • Strong technical, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Phlebotomy certification (required in certain states)
  • Forensic urine collections (DOT/non-DOT) certification
