ROLE SUMMARY:

We are seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to enhance our team. This position is pivotal in ensuring the upkeep, configuration, and dependable operation of our computer systems, networking devices, servers, and virtualization technologies.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Exhibit a strong commitment to service excellence, organizational values, and professionalism through appropriate conduct at all times.
  • Oversee the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, networking devices, servers, and virtualization technologies.
  • Lead the installation and upgrades of computer components and software, manage virtual servers, and implement automation processes.
  • Diagnose hardware and software issues by executing diagnostics, documenting problems and solutions, prioritizing issues, and evaluating their impact.
  • Take charge of the installation and configuration of Cloud Objects, network routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Act as a point of escalation for resolving complex problems or inquiries.
  • Provide documentation and technical specifications to IT personnel for planning and executing new or upgraded IT infrastructure.
  • Conduct regular Cloud-based backup operations and establish processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover strategies.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert during patching, maintenance, upgrades, and related activities.
  • Manage and document cloud environments to meet internal and clinical requirements, focusing on architecture, costs, scalability, Cloud CI/CD design, container management, security, maintenance, and testing.
  • Handle Cloud capacity planning, storage administration, and performance tuning of Cloud services.
  • Stay updated on emerging Cloud technologies and engage in educational opportunities to enhance job knowledge.
  • Participate in after-hours, weekend, and on-call support on a rotational basis.
  • Collaborate with various teams, including but not limited to EMR, HR, and Financial systems.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cloud Administration/Management, or equivalent experience is required.
  • Extensive knowledge of the TCP/IP protocol.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience in systems and cloud administration, as well as network administration.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Cloud security architecture, securing and hardening Cloud systems, data protection, and disaster recovery protocols.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the threat landscape, attack vectors, vulnerabilities, and their exploitation by malicious entities.
CERTIFICATIONS:
  • Preferred certifications include AWS, Oracle Cloud, Microsoft Azure, Cisco, and ITIL.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
  • Prolonged periods of standing, bending, or working at a desk on a computer.
  • Ability to lift up to 15 lbs is required.
