We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Nurse II to join our team in the Surgical Trauma Critical Care Unit at UNC Medical Center. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide exceptional patient care, collaborate with colleagues, and contribute to a culture of excellence and safety.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, assessing and addressing the physical, emotional, and educational needs of critically injured trauma and surgical patients.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring seamless transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development, staying current with best practices and evidence-based guidelines in trauma and surgical care.
- Contribute to a culture of safety, quality, and patient-centered care, promoting a positive and supportive work environment.
- Graduation from a school of professional nursing.
- Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification.
- One (1) year of relevant and current experience in trauma and surgical care.
