Position Overview: TECHEAD is seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Analyst. This role involves evaluating information risks and facilitating the resolution of identified vulnerabilities within the client's network, systems, and applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Security Monitoring: 50% - Continuously monitor, analyze, detect, and report on the security posture of the client's data, systems, and networks.
  • Compliance Assurance: 10% - Ensure adherence to industry best practices, regulations, and the client's policies regarding network and data security.
  • System Administration: 10% - Assist in the planning, implementation, and management of systems, technologies, policies, and procedures that uphold the integrity and reliability of data and information systems.
  • Vulnerability Management: 10% - Conduct vulnerability scans, analyze findings, and recommend remediation strategies to address issues throughout the environment.
  • Research and Development: 10% - Stay updated on the latest trends in information security through technical publications, seminars, and peer interactions, utilizing this knowledge to enhance the security tools available.
  • Audit Preparation: 5% - Compile audit reports identifying gaps and gather necessary information for IT audits.
  • Additional Duties: 5% - Perform other responsibilities as assigned, fostering strong relationships with various stakeholders.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in information security.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise IT technologies, including network protocols, firewalls, and system architectures.
  • In-depth knowledge of information systems security regulations, compliance standards, and best practices.
  • Ability to effectively communicate technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Expertise in operating enterprise IT security technologies such as SIEM, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and anti-virus solutions.
  • Capability to work independently and travel as required, proficient in using standard office equipment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, with the ability to interpret financial statements and technical documents.
  • A two-year college degree or equivalent specialized training in information security.
