Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Services Specialist to join our team at Emory University's Clifton Corridor campus. As a key member of our Information Technology department, you will play a critical role in supporting and enhancing the university's voice and data services. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, activating, and repairing campus voice and data services, as well as responding to work orders and trouble tickets to ensure seamless service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supports and assists with installs and activations of campus voice and data services
  • Responds to work orders (WOs) and trouble tickets to perform moves, adds, changes, and installs, and to repair interrupted service
  • Supports communications wiring installs, labeling, and testing in accordance with internal IT and industry standards
  • Interacts with Coordinators and customers to clarify work details and troubleshoot issues
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma and one year of relevant IT experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs
  • Ability to bend, stoop, and twist
  • Valid Georgia driver's license and an insurable driving record

Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off. Emory University also offers tuition remission and relocation assistance.
