Job Summary

The Customer Service Representative will provide exceptional service to parents and guests by greeting them in person or over the phone with a smile. This individual will answer calls, transfer inquiries to the appropriate department or person, and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service: Utilize strong communication skills to greet and assist parents and guests, ensuring a positive experience for all.
  • Manage Phone Calls: Answer and transfer calls in a timely and efficient manner, providing accurate information and resolving issues as needed.
  • Maintain a Professional Environment: Organize and prioritize tasks, working within deadlines to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow.
  • Operate a Multi-Line Phone System: Effectively manage phone calls, using a multiple line phone system to handle incoming and outgoing calls.
  • Work Effectively with Others: Deal with public and coworkers in a professional manner, demonstrating excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Comply with Safety Policies: Adhere to agency and departmental safety policies and procedures, ensuring a safe working environment.
  • Process Payments: Process childcare-related payments in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Communicate Effectively: Ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and/or other sounds in person and over the phone.
  • Visual Acuity: Ability to determine and identify items and children in the periphery, near, and far visual fields.
Qualifications
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
Skills
  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to read and write in English.
  • Bi-Lingual Preferred: Ability to communicate in a second language, with a preference for bilingual candidates.
  • Multitasking: Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and working efficiently.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to perform work tasks within the physical demand requirements, including sitting, standing, walking, and lifting.
Work Environment

This position operates in an office-type environment, requiring the ability to think and act quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced, demanding work environment.
