Job Summary

CM Buck & Associates is seeking a highly motivated Sales Representative to join our team. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with our Electrical Distribution and Contractor community. You will work closely with our inside sales, project managers, manufacturers, and customers to provide product and project support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow strong business relationships with existing Lighting and Controls client base
  • Prospect and develop new business and customer accounts
  • Regular account visits for updates and presentations
  • Participate in trade shows and customer events as needed
  • Collaborate with other CM Buck divisions for joint projects
  • Maintain and grow manufacturer relationships
  • Help advance any promotions provided by CM Buck manufacturers
  • Create and manage goals and business plan with divisional leader
  • Manage and update CRM system based on account activity
  • Continue to further knowledge about industry, technology, and our manufacturers

Requirements:

  • Preferred basic electrical knowledge
  • Preferred ability to read and understand construction drawings
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly self-motivated to engage customers on a regular basis
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 products and platforms
  • Ability to work and thrive in a team environment
  • Background with or ability to learn and interact with new CRM systems
