Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized individual to join our design team at Collective Spaces Design Works. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for communicating with clients and vendors throughout the pre and post-sales process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage sales proposals to meet client needs and expectations.
  • Coordinate projects from client approval to completion, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
  • Place and track orders with manufacturers and vendors, ensuring accurate and timely fulfillment.
  • Process and review vendor acknowledgements, resolving any discrepancies or issues.
  • Schedule installations and assemble installation packages, ensuring all necessary materials and information are included.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the post-sales process, providing exceptional customer service and support.
  • Complete warranty and punch list claims in a timely manner, ensuring client satisfaction and resolving any issues promptly.
  • Manage chargebacks to vendors for defective products, poor work, late and delayed shipments, and other issues.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in an interior design firm, furniture dealership, or related field is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with design software such as AutoCad, Sketchup, CET, or other relevant tools is essential.
  • Strong deadline and detail-oriented skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Understanding of mark-up and profit margin concepts, as well as contract pricing and negotiation.
