Position Overview:

Ferguson Construction Company (FCC) has a rich history of over a century as a prominent General Contractor, specializing in both heavy and light industrial, commercial, healthcare, and institutional sectors. Our extensive expertise is complemented by an in-house design team, enabling us to execute concrete, masonry, steel erection, general carpentry, and sheet metal roofing and siding trades effectively.

Role Responsibilities:

The Project Manager is accountable for overseeing project costs and timelines while ensuring seamless coordination of onsite activities with the project superintendent, as well as FCC's safety and quality assurance teams.

Key Qualifications:

  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, including MS Project
  • Experienced with Procore construction management software
  • Strong foundation in architectural and civil engineering, with knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
  • Adept at managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical field
  • A minimum of 3 years of project management experience in the construction sector

Core Duties:

  • Adherence to all FCC standard operating procedures
  • Comprehensive management of projects to meet safety, quality, schedule, and cost objectives
  • Daily collaboration with project superintendent and subcontractors for effective coordination
  • Strategic planning to ensure timely procurement of long lead items
  • Management and review of subcontractor/vendor billings, producing monthly invoices for clients
  • Oversight of project equipment requirements
  • Management of project manpower needs
  • Development and maintenance of relationships with subcontractors and vendors
