Ferguson Construction Company (FCC) is a well-established General Contractor with over a century of experience in various sectors including heavy and light industrial, commercial, healthcare, and institutional markets. Our in-house design team, coupled with our ability to self-perform trades such as concrete, masonry, steel erection, general carpentry, and sheet metal roofing and siding, sets us apart in the industry.
Role ResponsibilitiesThe Project Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing project costs and schedules, while ensuring effective coordination of onsite activities with the project superintendent and FCC's safety and quality teams.
Qualifications Required- Proficient in MS Office Suite, particularly MS Project
- Experienced with Procore construction management software
- Strong background in architectural and civil engineering, with knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related technical field
- A minimum of 3 years of project management experience in the construction sector
- Ensure adherence to all FCC standard operating procedures
- Manage projects to guarantee safety, quality, schedule adherence, and cost efficiency
- Engage daily with project superintendent and subcontractors for effective coordination
- Plan long-term to ensure timely procurement of long lead items
- Monitor, manage, and review subcontractor/vendor billings and prepare monthly invoices for clients
- Assess and manage project equipment and manpower requirements
- Foster and maintain relationships with subcontractors and vendors
