Fiscal Resource Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Fiscal Resource Manager to join our team at the City of Norfolk, VA. As a key member of our Operations unit, you will be responsible for managing fiscal operations and departmental activities, including daily cash handling, deposits, and tracking of revenues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Operations Manager in departmental budget reconciliation process and monitor expenditures.
  • Manage fiscal operations and departmental activities, including daily cash handling, deposits, and tracking of revenues.
  • Supervise fiscal support staff and perform administrative duties for the Operations Manager.
  • Monitor purchasing functions and run related reporting.
  • Perform related duties as required.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Three years of experience in a supervisory position.
  • Procurement and financial management related certifications or training.
