Overview

Blue Ridge Community Health Services is seeking a PRN Registered Dietitian to join our Clinical Team. As a key member of our interdisciplinary health team, you will provide medical nutrition services and nutrition counseling in a primary care practice setting.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate the nutritional status of individuals and provide personalized nutrition counseling and consulting services.
  • Collaborate with health professionals within the organization to develop and implement effective nutrition plans.
  • Stay up-to-date with current scientific nutritional studies and apply this knowledge to develop standards and guidelines for Blue Ridge Community Health Services.
  • Plan, evaluate, and conduct nutrition education programs for various audiences and at all BRCHS sites.
  • Support the organization's mission and goal achievement, ensuring high-quality patient-centered care.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Current registration as a Registered Dietitian through the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
  • One to two years of supervised training and experience working as a Registered Dietitian.
  • Experience in working in ambulatory care settings.
  • Bilingual skills are preferred but not required.
