We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Dietitian to join our Clinical Team in Polk, Rutherford, and Henderson Counties. As a key member of our interdisciplinary health team, you will provide medical nutrition services and nutrition counseling in a primary care practice setting.
Responsibilities- Evaluate the nutritional status of individuals and provide personalized nutrition counseling and consulting services.
- Stay up-to-date with current scientific nutritional studies to inform the development of standards and guidelines for Blue Ridge Community Health Services.
- Design, implement, and evaluate nutrition education programs for various audiences across all BRCHS sites.
- Support the organization's mission and goal achievement, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care.
- Primarily support clinics in Columbus, Spindale, and Lake Lure, with occasional travel to Hendersonville.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Current registration as a Registered Dietitian through the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or certification as a Licensed Nutritionist in North Carolina.
- One to two years of supervised experience working as a Registered Dietitian, preferably in an ambulatory care setting.
- Bilingual skills are a plus, but not required.
