We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Dietitian to join our team at Peters Twp Nursing & Rehab in McMurray, PA. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional nutrition care to our residents.
Job Summary:The Registered Dietitian will be responsible for developing and implementing individualized nutrition plans of care for our residents, ensuring their nutritional needs are met and their health outcomes are optimized. You will work closely with our nursing staff, food service team, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement nutrition care plans for residents, taking into account their medical history, dietary needs, and preferences.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
- Conduct regular assessments of residents' nutritional status and make recommendations for improvement.
- Provide education and support to residents, families, and caregivers on nutrition-related topics.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of nutrition interventions and make adjustments as needed.
- Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a long-term care or geriatric population.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on providing exceptional patient care.
- Competitive salary range: $66,000 - $79,000 per year.
