Job Summary

The Maintenance 2 will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on shellfish processing equipment and facilities. This includes performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment, as well as performing building and grounds maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on shellfish processing equipment and facilities
  • Perform preventative maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and extend equipment life
  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment as needed
  • Perform building and grounds maintenance, including repairs and upkeep
  • Operate heavy equipment as needed
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in maintenance and repair
  • Experience with construction trades, including carpentry, concrete, and basic plumbing and electrical
  • Heavy equipment operating experience
  • Ability to read and understand technical manuals, standard operating procedures, and schematics
  • Availability to work days, nights, weekends, on call, and travel as needed
