Job Summary: As an Equipment Technician with the Washington State Government, you will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing equipment. This includes inspecting and repairing industrial/commercial equipment, such as pumps and generators. You will also perform major overhauls, tune-ups, relining/adjusting brakes, transmissions, and differential replacement and repair. Additionally, you will inspect and make minor repairs to wiring.

Key Responsibilities:

* Inspect and diagnose equipment issues
* Perform repairs and maintenance on industrial/commercial equipment
* Conduct major overhauls and tune-ups
* Reline and adjust brakes, transmissions, and differentials
* Inspect and repair wiring

Requirements:

* High school diploma or equivalent
* 2+ years of experience in equipment maintenance or repair
* Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and equipment
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
