Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Patient Administrative Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support, ensuring seamless communication and coordination with patients, physicians, and staff members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet patients in a friendly and professional manner, verifying appointments and assisting with necessary paperwork
  • Ensure effective communication and coordination with patients, physicians, and staff members, including follow-ups and updates
  • Maintain complex schedules, ensuring patients receive the appropriate number of visits and coordinating with Physical Therapists and staff members as needed
  • Assist patients with insurance-related questions, verifying and explaining benefits, and obtaining and tracking authorizations
  • Accurately update and maintain records in the electronic medical and billing record system, including billing changes and follow-ups
  • Collect copayments and process in a timely and professional manner, issuing receipts and handling billing-related tasks
  • Support clinic performance by preparing management information, inputting data from in-house research, and maintaining clinic supplies and equipment
  • Respect patient privacy and adhere to confidentiality policies
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Experience in a patient-centered healthcare position is an advantage, but not necessary
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid basic computer skills
  • Commitment to Team's initiative of making DEI a priority
