Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist/CT to join our team at Kaiser Permanente. As a key member of our medical imaging department, you will be responsible for operating computed tomography imaging scanners and related equipment to produce high-quality images of patients. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate CT and general radiography equipment to produce images of specified areas of the body, using knowledge of human anatomy and physiology.
  • Monitor images and make necessary adjustments to obtain optimal results.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to establish requirements for non-standard examinations.
  • Process and transmit images according to established department protocols and standard operating procedures.
  • Start IVs and monitor patients during contrast administration under the direction of a physician.
  • Maintain quality control of all CT and general radiography procedures and related equipment.
Requirements
  • Recent experience as a Radiologic Technologist working in a medical imaging department and six (6) months of recent computed tomography experience required.
  • Successful completion of a two (2) year radiologic technology training program approved by the American Medical Association and registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Certificate - Computed Tomography from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Two (2) or more years medical imaging experience in a trauma center or emergency department with recent CT experience.
  • Associates degree or higher.
