As a Radiologic Technologist/CT, you will play a critical role in the clinic, operating both CT and general radiography equipment to produce high-quality images of the body. You will work closely with radiologists to ensure accurate and effective imaging procedures, using your knowledge of CT/RT techniques and procedures, sterile techniques, and patient care and monitoring. Your attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will be essential in providing excellent patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Operate CT and general radiography equipment to produce high-quality images of the body
- Work closely with radiologists to ensure accurate and effective imaging procedures
- Monitor patient safety and well-being during imaging procedures
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information and imaging procedures
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
- Recent experience as a Radiologic Technologist working in a medical imaging department and six (6) months of recent computed tomography experience required
- Successful completion of a two (2) year radiologic technology training program approved by the American Medical Association and registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Certificate - Computed Tomography from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
