Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team at Presbyterian/St. Luke's Medical Center. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for operating computed tomography (CT) scanners to produce high-quality images of patients' internal organs and tissues. Your role will involve accurately interpreting physician instructions, administering contrast materials, preparing and operating the CT scan equipment, and positioning patients to capture the appropriate images.

Responsibilities
  • Operate CT scanners to produce high-quality images of patients' internal organs and tissues
  • Accurately interpret physician instructions and administer contrast materials as needed
  • Prepare and operate CT scan equipment, including positioning patients to capture the appropriate images
  • Communicate effectively with patients, medical staff, and colleagues to ensure smooth and efficient operations
Requirements
  • Graduate of a 24-month AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology
  • Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in CT
  • 1 year of diagnostic experience, with CT experience preferred
  • Solid to expert knowledge of all CT procedures
