Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team in the CT Scan department at UCHealth. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for providing top-notch patient care and performing various imaging procedures using computed tomography technology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care and perform imaging procedures using computed tomography technology.
  • Review patient history and initiate computed tomography images based on physician orders.
  • Prioritize procedural patient education to ensure mutual understanding and cooperation.
  • Safely administer contrast media or associated imaging medications while monitoring patient condition.
  • Respond and report changes in patient condition as appropriate.
  • Implement techniques to yield clarity in image, quality control, and equipment functionality based on established best practices in Radiology.
  • May perform 3-D post-processing while entering, transmitting, and reporting scan results.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
  • Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) and registered, and/or registry eligible with completion of registry in 12 months in computed tomography (CT) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). State licensure if required by law.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider.
  • ARRT Computed Tomography (CT)
  • BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date.
